The Women's Ministry at Lake City Assembly of God is part of the state and national Women's Ministry of the Assemblies of God. Our main goal is to see what God expects of us as women and to help each other in living up to that goal. We have monthly meetings that have included cook outs beside the lake, progressive suppers, and spend the night parties. The Women's Ministry is in charge of benevolence for the church family. We provide meals for new mothers; people returning home from the hospital and families who have lost a close loved one. We attend the state Women's Retreat in Springville each September. One of our big events of the year is our Mother/Daughter Banquet in May. We would like to invite each woman to come be a part of our Women's Ministry.

Our world is changing rapidly, and so are the needs of women. We as Christians must be relevant to those we want to reach. Women's Ministries—Unlimited! emphasizes the unlimited opportunities open to women for ministry in their local churches and communities. Every woman should be ministered to according to her need, and every born-again woman should be encouraged to find her place of ministry within the body of Christ. More.
